I'll be uploading a second demo soon! it'll include everything from the start up to the second boss. It'll even have the tutorial in place.

There has been oodles of updates, i've completely revamped the physics engine and improved the graphics greatly, there's just to many things to list.

It's a shock for me to go back and play the original demo I uploaded, it's practically unplayable with all the bugs and quirky controls... I'm proud to say this is much better now, if even still not exactly where it needs to be.

I just didn't like the old one. I've learned so much about drawing clouds since making the original that i simply had to update it. The new version unfortunately trumps all the other backgrounds... i'll just have to live with that.

around 70% finished.
there's about 4/7 levels done, and i'm working heavily on the 5th. it's getting there.

also fixed some gameplay issues. I'm wondering if i should put another demo up somehow... i need more beta testers, but I don't want to keep submitting more junk into the portal.. that seems spammy.

anyway, here's a screenshot of the latest level i'm working on!

Continued work is being done, recent things:

- Finished Cogwhirl Mill, ready for beta testing on that level
- Began work on Boneshackle Basin
- fixed a bug that caused the background to skip slightly during jumps
- fixed some graphical problems with SilverSin Strip
- Improved the control scheme.

Recent changes / fixes

- CrystalFall done
- Ice physics further improved, sliding is now much more dynamic and doesn't lock up controls
- Cogwhirl is 50% finished
- Added several types of traps for Cogwhirl, including steam vents, row-saws, and tumbling platforms.
- Started work on SilverSin strip, optimizing and redrawing
- Remapped Attack to A and grapple to D so you no longer have to move your left hand while controll character actions.
- sped up a couple platforms in CrystalFall.
- C'thalas now has 2 arms!!

and ready for testing.
After a personal test, the difficulty ramp in this level really doesn't make any sense. it's incredibly steep, and the end is almost impossible. So i still have to do some tweaking, but i'm looking for testers either way! thanks.

Progress continues elsewhere, Cogwhirl is 1/3 done, and i'm getting ready to start up art on SilverSin Strip.

getting there...

CrystalFall is 1 area away from being totally done, and i'm about a days work off from the boss there being done to.

Cogwhirl is coming along as well, and I hope to start fixing up Silversin Strip before toooo long.

recent fixes -
Created new traps and enemies for CrystalFall to increase it's difficulty.

Now caching all things on screen as bitmaps, (most anyway) to further increase frame rates.

Updated death-reloading so it works automatically at a default without me having to specifically code it to reset.

I fixed things up a bit more,
Recent additions: Ice is now in the game, and physics have been tailored just slightly to work with that.
Began remodling CogWhirl Mill, CrystalFall Cliffs should be ready for a beta phase in a couple days!

I've calculated out how much each part of the game is worth and figured i have 51% done (this isn't counting what's been finished before the big re-vamp i did. So i have a lot of art that's just not factored in)

Windcrack is being renamed CrystalFall Cliffs due to the new art and icy setting. it's about 4/6 zones finished, getting there. nearly ready for beta testing.

As far as I can tell, Sunloft is bug free (not counting general game bugs I just haven't fixed yet that aren't exclusive to the level) and ready for release with the game.
I'm always looking for more beta testers!

so far i've got like, 2 regular ones. THAT'S NOT ENOUGH!!!
I've also just developed a really scary part of Crystalfall, depicted here below, that is almost totally ice and may be to hard! D:

I still have a bug list of things to do, but here's what's done so far:

Screen no longer shakes when jumping against walls
Fixed various jump power bugs
You can now jump 'through' floors without being pushed around by them
Windcrack quarry is now covered in ice and snow, and is snowing, background updated.
"Ground Enemy" AI improved

SunLoft City - testing phase (ask me for a link if you wanna help out!)
